Kindergarten
The kindergarten program gives children the opportunity to continue to develop their social skills and their capacity for creative -thinking and problem-solving through activities, play and exploration of materials. Religion is incorporated through daily experience at St. Luke's. Hearing stories read and shared aloud, along with small group and independent tasks strengthens each child's literacy skills. Prayer, songs, poetry, art activities and dramatic play inspire a love of language and the arts. Counting games, calendar activities and exploring with manipulatives build a solid foundation in the development of mathematical skills.
